At Nexum, sustainability is a natural part of good craftsmanship and responsible delivery — in concrete works as well as groundworks. It means planning better, choosing long-lasting solutions and using materials, time and machinery more consciously.
In practice, it means less material wastage, less construction waste and sound logistics, so projects are delivered efficiently and with fewer errors.
We have a dedicated HSE/QA manager who oversees quality assurance and safety in every project. That responsibility is not outsourced — it is part of our everyday work.

Good planning before concrete placement reduces errors, waste and rework

Briskeby — working on a zero-emission construction site
The tram infrastructure at Briskeby is being renewed on a site requiring emission-free construction operations.
For Isachsen Anlegg AS we are casting foundations for overhead-line masts and the tram tracks themselves on the Tilpasning SL18 project — the upgrade of the tram infrastructure for Oslo’s new trams.
Working on an emission-free construction site in a dense residential area places particular demands on planning, site setup and logistics. The requirements for concrete placement remain the same: tolerances, curing monitoring and documentation.
